PDI Decorators is a family run business based in Lanarkshire and serving across the Central Belt of Scotland.We provide quality Painting & Decorating and Ames Taping services to New Build Housing & Commercial Contractors
We are a team of highly skilled and experienced Painters & Decorators and Ames Tapers who aim for the highest standard of quality, whilst being committed to delivering on programme. All operatives strictly adhere to all current Health and Safety Requirements
We also have a dedicated team of Customer Care painters who have been carefully chosen to attend to our Customer Care works. Having a dedicated team ensures we have a consistent approach when attending Client’s properties.
We are dedicated to maintaining and enhancing the health & safety of our team and others on-site. We achieve this through; management & supervision and regular training.
We have been continuously accredited by SMAS since 2013.
PDI have obtained the services of an external Health & Safety Consultant (Glenside Safety Services) to assist us in ensuring our approaches in line with the current legislation and enhance with their experience and understanding of all aspects of health & safety.
We have a team of supervisors who have attended the Site Supervisors Safety Training Scheme (SSSTS) and maintain a current certificate. All supervisors are also trained first aiders.
All site operatives have valid CSCS Cards, with an up to date HS&E test pass. We run a programme of SVQ training annually to ensure that any operative who may not have the appropriate training is trained to.
Ames Taping
All tapers have SVQ L2 qualifications and have valid CSCS cards. All joint tapes are applied by automatic taping machines and sanded using sanding machines with approved dust extractor. Our operatives have been face fit tested.
Interior / exterior painting
All painters have SVQ L3 qualifications and have valid CSCS cards. All painters are experienced in housebuilding and commercial painting. Our team have all attained safety training applicable to working at height; ladder safety, PASMA, IPAF, etc.
wallpaper hanging
Our select team of Decorators specialise in wallpaper hanging and are experts in decorating with all papers including standard, wide vinyl, and digital print.
customer care
We have a dedicated team of experienced painters who attend all of our customer care works. Each painter has over 8 years’ experience and is focused on customer service.
